Featuring artwork by London based creative Tishk Barzanji, this pink Unexpected Beauty Deck from Skateboard Cafe is made from high quality 7-ply maple. The topside has a plain wash whilst on the underside a split design shows a detailed pink and orange tone illustration of a seated character followed by bold ‘Cafe’ lettering underneath which is enhanced by a solid white fill across the remaining section of the deck.
Initially inspired by concept stores such as Dave's Quality Meats in NYC, Skateboard Cafe was officially set up in 2012 by Rich Smith who was influenced by the vibe of ‘50s diners which he translated across a self entitled video part. From here, the label has since gained international recognition for its impressive graphics each season which often reference cult movies and include artwork by favourite artists such as Becki Clark. For HO20 new apparel, accessory and skate decks have been unveiled each with their own creative personality.
